The Legend of Tomte
Tales of Scandinavian gnomes emerged from a time when farms were extremely isolated, and inhabitants throughout Scandinavia had to live through dark, long winters. The Scandinavian gnomes sprang from the imaginations of people who wanted to feel less alone during these cold months.
In Sweden, the word “Tomte” actually means homestead man.
Gnomes can sometimes stand for good fortune, respect, and care in Scandinavian homes. Gnomes are also frequently associated with mischievous behaviour and pranks.

HERE'S WHAT I PROVIDE
It all started during Christmas with lots of down time. My love and passion for Gnomes lead me to test out my sewing abilities, and allotted me an outlet for creativity.
On my site, you will find Gnomes that are currently in-stock ready to be delivered or shipped. You will also find a great number of Gnomes that are made to order. My current turnaround time is 1-3
days before they go out for shipment.
My ultimate goal is to share my love of the Tomte, and find them homes that will last them forever (as they do not like change).
